Think about it for a second. A customer checks into your hotel, gets their key and goes to their room. From experience, this can be underwhelming. Some hotels now have no human contact with automated kiosk check-in.

Hotels that offer a fuller, customer facing experience will tend to get more favourable reviews.

Take your guests for a tour around the hotels facilities. Arrange a meet up and give them a 15 minute tour of your local area.

Make them feel at home and part of your local community and they will keep coming back.
