With other big players looking to take over and disrupt the travel sector Facebook may be the only saviour.

With over 1.8 billion active users, 1 billion of which are active every day, Facebook will become the main platform to view, share and purchase tours and activities, accommodation and flights. Remember they also own Instagram and WhatsApp too.

Because of this customer base, Facebook will become a bigger search engine than Google or YouTube combined.

The targeting capabilities will only deepen too, making it even easier for you to reach out to your customers.

Pay close attention to what Facebook introduces to our sector. With everything else that is going on to make it harder for you, Facebook will become your saving grace.
