The first top mistake that will be hitting your bottom line is you think everyone is looking for a cheap deal. This is simply not the case.

Many people are out there looking for that once-in-a-lifetime experience and you know what, they are willing to pay for it. If you come across as a budget or special offer provider, you will always be competing on price. Cheap deals bring cheap customers.

Unless you are in the budget market, please, do not have your homepage crammed with special offer deals but showcase products that make your customers feel special.
