Mix Business With Pleasure – DigiTourShow Daily #128

For those who travel for business purposes it often includes some downtime for themselves.

A recent study shows that 62 percent of those who travel for business are more likely to extend their stay.

If you are a hotel, send your customers a welcome email, or SMS message, inviting them to stay a little longer. Entice them with a discounted room rate and maybe a free meal for one if they invite another to your onsite restaurant. This may inspire them to ask a friend, or a client, for a bite to eat.

This makes your guest feel welcome and provides a word of mouth opportunity to their guest.
