Pay per click (or PPC) is an advertising method used whereby advertisers are charged per click on targeted ads. This is a quick way of driving traffic to your website as you are effectively ‘buying’ visits rather than attracting them through SEO. A good way to think about it is; in terms of gaining site traffic, PPC is the 100m sprint, whereas SEO is more of a marathon.
