The Story Pre-Covid

Lauren and her team approached TMA to help create a 3-month marketing campaign to target the domestic US market. Ciclismo Classico’s most popular tour destination is normally Italy but with the pandemic and travel restrictions, this was not a viable option for 2021.

After a few initial discussions, we set about creating a campaign based around New England, which is seen as the ‘Europe of the US’ so the ‘European Charm & Culture Close to Home’ campaign was born.

Our team got to work writing content, creating landing pages and emails. We even produced a video using existing footage the client had. This was all driven through an extensive Facebook Funnel we developed. The results have been incredible.

Within only 6 weeks from when the campaign launched on Facebook, 188 qualified enquiries for the New England tours, which includes 403 individual people looking to receive a tailor-made quote. With tours starting at USD$2,300 per head, we have helped produce a potential sales value of USD$926,900… and we are just getting started.

At an industry-standard close rate of 30% for multi-day tours, that is a potential USD$278,070 in sales. Not bad for an ad spend of USD$3,429.
