If people make the effort to leave a comment on a social post, take the time to reply back and spark up a conversation.

Customers like to know you are paying attention and care about what they have to say. They are less likely to return if they feel their comments are falling on deaf ears.

Plus, when you comment that user is notified and brings them back to your social platform where they may continue the conversation or see something that entices them to make a purchase.
